The United Martial Arts Training Center exists to challenge and empower students of martial arts, developing attributes of character, excellence, self-discipline, tolerance, and humility while recognizing and optimizing their full potential. Through superior teaching of a rigorous curriculum, athletes are provided with the background necessary to compete at the highest level. The United Martial Arts Training Center acts as a catalyst to deepen and advance the understanding of Wushu (Chinese Martial Arts) in America, an aspiration that is both noble and bold.

UMA hosts 11th Pan American Wushu Championships
In August of 2016, United Martial Arts hosted The 11th Pan American Wushu Championships. This event Included 12 countries and over 400 competitors. Working with Lubbock Sports and the City of Lubbock, United Martial Arts was able to put on this amazing event. Thank you to all who participated in helping and volunteering for this event, we simply could not have done it with out you. Thank you to our friends form the participating countries for your continued support and assistance with this event. Also, Congratulations to all 5 of our fighters form United Martial Arts who placed at this event. Including our new Pan American Champions in Livingstion Mckinzie , Audrey Meeks, and Evan Monte. Again, thank you for all who had a hand in helping us make this amazing event a reality.
